VALENO S Film

EXCOR VALENO S Films are very frequently used as external packaging. In this context, they can be subject to high mechanical stresses during the application and later by loading and reloading processes. They are particularly subjected to high stresses on corners and sharp edges.  Consequently, it is important that films which are to be used in such fields of application are equipped with appropriate mechanical properties. EXCOR VALENO S Films therefore have specified properties in terms of tensile strength, resistance to tearing, elongation at tear, and puncture resistance, which are classified according to DIN EN ISO 527-3/2/200 and ASTM D1709/A. In the conception of EXCOR VALENO S Films, we placed special emphasis on a high puncture resistance because this ensures that films have a high resistance under stresses induced by application or transport on corners and sharp edges. This is achieved by using selected raw materials and in many cases allows a reduction in film thickness and thus savings in material use, but above all it ensures high application security.
