PERIGOL 100 Corrosion Protection Oil

EXCOR PERIGOL 100 is a solvent-free, hydrolysis resistant and non-emulsifiable corrosion protection oil for temporary corrosion protection of ferrous metals, uncoated or partially galvanised steel and iron castings. PERIGOL 100 is completely compatible with the EXCOR VCI system. Its primary purpose is the pretreatment of particularly corrosion-sensitive metal surfaces to protect them even before their packaging with EXCOR products.

PERIGOL 100 can be used in immersion or spray processes. With a viscosity of 10 mm²/s PERIGOL 100 primarily intended for immersion application. If a spray application is planned, we recommend  PERIGOL DW.

As a result of its thixotropic properties, the drip-off time after application is shortened, the effective coating thickness increased and the temperature stability of the active layer increased up to approximately 50 degrees Celsius.

PERIGOL forms an oily, non-wipeproof film on the parts, which can also be removed with aqueous alkaline media after storage of the parts.
